You know that it's been too long since you've posted on your blog when you open it up and could swear that the most recent post you are looking at couldn't possibly be the last thing you wrote - to the point that I actually went and looked at my list of posts to see if I had written something more recent and just forgotten to actually post it. Nope, nothing. It really has been that long... ha.
Anyways, last night I had a bunch of friends over for the first dinner party that I've hosted in I don't know how long. I really can't remember the last time I did something like this. And it was so much fun! :) What's amazing to me to realize is that as much fun as the actual event was, I actually really enjoyed all the preparation for it. Honestly, that part usually stresses me out, but this time I was happy to get all the cleaning done and the decorating and shopping and cooking... I really am looking forward to doing it again sometime soon. :)
